# Platform Tax

To incentivize holding $APE tokens, a 0.5% tax on the total supply of tokens launched from holders not meeting the $APE minimum threshold requirement is implemented. These tokens are held in escrow until the project reaches Raydium, after which they are gradually liquidated for $APE buybacks. Holding $APE within the specified tiers can reduce or eliminate this tax.<br>
